TEMPEST PRODUCT DIVISION
Workstations
The standard range of TEMPEST Level A Workstations are based on our universal ATS-TEMPEST housing, available in desktop or tower configuration with up to 5 Drive Slots accessable via a lockable front door with optional automatic suspend when opened.
Our standard units are based on Compaq EVO Series, SUN Ultra AX SPARCengine, or based on Single Board Rocky PCIE-9650-R11 and easily adapted and upgraded to state-of-the art processing power. Other configurations are available on request. A large variety of filtered interface options, including FO-adapter for Ethernet, serial and parallel port, allows us to tailor workstations for all IT infrastructures that have strong security requirements.
Our high-reliability TEMPEST Level A 104-Win 95 Keyboards are available with optional integrated finger print recognition, or a combination of finger print reader and smart card reader, for secure user authentication.
For TEMPEST SDIP 27 Level B we modify COTS-equipment with a cost effective design using absorber and/or shielding material. Certified Zone 1 and 2 equipment is listed on BSI product list.
Monitors
Our standard TFT LCD TEMPEST Level A Monitor is available in sizes 15" / 17" / 19" and 21". Different sizes are also available.
These monitors give the user an excellent image quality together with optimal ergonomy and elegant design.
All SDIP 27 Level A Displays come with a high-definition ITO screen, to give paramount optical performance, compared with copper-mesh based models. These TEMPEST Monitors are optimally suited for application where a TEMPEST workstation is the permanent working place.
Printers
There are currently several different TEMPEST Level A / B printers available, based on HP Laser Printers.
The ATS-2055T and the ATS-3015T are black & white Laser Jets. Both support up to 1200 dpi resolution at a full engine speed of 33 ppm with a processor speed of 600 MHz (ATS-2055T) respectively 40 ppm with processor speed of 540 MHz (ATS-3015T).
The ATS-5550T is the TEMPEST version of the HP Color LaserJet 5550 Series Printers. It supports up to true 600 x 600 dpi resolution at a full engine speed of 28 color/bw pages per minute. With a high-powered 533 MHz processor and up to 544 MB of memory, this printer gracefully handles even the most complex documents.
For all our printers, the design provides all of the OEM functionality while allowing easy access for maintenance. Though the USB has become the standard interface, optional interfaces are available on request.
Scanners
The CORDSEN ATS-8270T is the TEMPEST version of the popular HP ScanJet8270 scanner, a versatile flatbed scanner that captures both black and white and color drawings, photographs, and text at high resolution.
It is designed to meet SDIP 27 Level A, which makes it suitable for handling documents containing classified data in any environment. It comes optional with an automatic document feeder (ADF), which simplifies batch processing.
Networking
Since fiber optic networks represent the ideal media for transmission of sensitive data, the ATS-3616T has been implemented which is the adaptation of the Allied Telesyn AT-8216FXL. This SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) manageable 16-Port switch offers maximum flexibility and redundancy for both workgroup and department concentrator needs.
Careful TEMPEST design gives almost the same footprint as the commercial model. Although the AT-8200XL series switches can be used as plug and play devices, an extensive range of management is provided. Management features include Web-based management, SNMP, Telnet and Omega Command Line Interface, allowing the switches to be controlled by a variety of management platforms.
Built-in into our own TEMPEST housings, all sorts of configurations and/or numbers of ports are available on request.
Mobile
For mobile TEMPEST processing of mission-critical and sensitive data, we offer the ATS-8750T compact TEMPEST Level A / B and rugged laptop computer with Intel Centrino technology, 2 GHz CPU; 512 MB RAM (expandable to 2 GB) and up to 100 GB harddisk. The ATS-8750T comes with a 14.1" sunlight readable display and 1024x768 resolution. For SDIP Level B / Zone 1 application, we offer a wide range of notebooks, generally from Panasonic. but we have also certified a Durabook, e. g..
